BOGGIATTO PRODUCE SPONSORSHIPS SUPPORT FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY

 

SALINAS, Calif., April 26, 2007 – Continuing its commitment of support to the foodservice industry, Boggiatto Produce announces recipients of its sponsorship program for 2007. They include The Santé Symposium, OSI Managing Partners Conference, American Culinary Federation (ACF) national convention, The Flavor Experience, the Grill Concepts Conference, and Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRoNA).

New to the list this year, is the company's silver sponsorship of The Santé Symposium, which will take place April 29 – May 2 in Manchester Village, Vermont. The event has been developed exclusively for restaurant professionals in the upscale casual to fine-dining industry segment. It offers a comprehensive educational program designed specifically to help those professionals improve and grow their business – and their bottom line. The four-day conference explores all aspects of the foodservice industry from business planning and management to food and wine trends.

In May, Boggiatto Produce will be a sponsor for the OSI Managing Partners Conference in Nashville, which brings together top executives and managing partners from all the company's concepts including Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse. With more than 1,400 locations in the U.S. and 20 other countries, OSI is the nation's third largest operator of casual dining spots.

In July, Boggiatto Produce will once again support the American Culinary Federation as a bronze sponsor for their annual convention in Orlando. The leading organization for American chefs, the group has more than 20,000 members.

A founding sponsor for The Flavor Experience, Boggiatto Produce will once again be a gold sponsor for this annual conference that brings together research and development executives, corporate chefs and other executive management from the nation's leading chain operations. Presented by Flavor & The Menu and BSI, the conference will take place in San Diego, August 6 – 9.

Boggiatto Produce will also continue its sponsorship of The Grill Concepts Conference in Lake Tahoe, California. The conference is attended by top management from the company and its more than 20 restaurants in eight states, including the Grill on the Alley and Daily Grill concepts.

This is the fifth year that Boggiatto Produce has partnered with DiRoNA. The company and will play a prominent role at DiRoNA's annual conference in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho this September. DiRoNA was established in 1990 to recognize the most distinguished restaurants in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Each of the approximately 800 restaurants has passed a rigorous and anonymous, 75-point inspection process to qualify for the coveted DiRoNA Award of Excellence.
